Update - COVID-19: November 20

Important notices, emergencies, and alerts  

  • Following the press briefing on November 19

  • The government has announced the measures in effect for the holiday season.

  • From December 24 to 27:
    - Opportunity to participate in private gatherings
    - Limit of 10 people per gathering
    - Respect the distancing of 2 meters
    - No gatherings for people with symptoms.
    - No office parties
    - Voluntary confinement one week before and after Christmas
    - No New Year's Day gatherings
    - Measures conditional to the maintenance of the current situation.

  • Educational institutions:
    - Elementary: closed from December 17 to January 3 (teaching maintained, but at a distance, according to the current school calendar)
    - Secondary: closed from December 17 to January 10 (teaching maintained, but at a distance, according to the current school calendar)
    - Childcare services remain open for children whose parents work in an essential service.

  • Red Zone :
    - Restrictions in red zones will continue until January 11.

  • Pincourt:
    - All activities scheduled for December at the library are cancelled (crafts, story time).
    - Contactless loans still in effect at the library.

  • Town Hall:
    - Restricted public access at Town Hall.
    - To submit documents or payment (parking permit, cat or dog license, environmental grant application), please use the mailbox located at the main entrance of the building.
    - Please make an appointment before coming to Town Hall: 514 453-8981.
