Update of February 14: Covid-19

Important notices, emergencies, and alerts  

  • Following today's press conference, here is the deconfinement schedule in brief:

  • As of February 12
    Private residences: Removal of the legal limit on the number of people allowed.
    Recommendation of a maximum of 10 people or a group from up to 3 different addresses.

    Restaurants and dining rooms: 10 people per table or a group from three different addresses.

  • As of February 14
    Reopening of gyms and spas at 50% capacity.
    Resumption of sports for adults.
    Team sports games allowed.
    Outdoor performance limit increased to a maximum of 5,000 people.

  • As of February 21
    All businesses will be able to open at 100% capacity;
    Theaters: audience up to 50% of capacity.

  • As of February 28
    Sports tournaments and competitions: allowed.
    Telecommuting: recommended by public health, not mandatory.
    Places of worship and concert halls will be allowed to reopen at 100% capacity with the exception of the Bell Centre and the Videotron Centre;

  • As of March 14
    Dancing and karaoke return to bars and casinos.
    Restaurants, bars and large auditorium (Bell Centre) will be able to reopen at 100% capacity.
